The MADRIX® ARCEDIA is a ready-configured computer for pixel mapping with MADRIX 5 in 2D or real 3D. Windows 11 Pro, MADRIX 5 with the arcedia licence and MADRIX RADAR are pre-installed; the system is ready to run straight out of the box.

Is this right for my project?
What the ARCEDIA is made for
- Large pixel and voxel installations: render volume of up to 1.5 million pixels
- Permanent installations that should run immediately: operating system, MADRIX 5 and utilities are pre-installed
- Effects that react to music: live audio input for audio-based effects in MADRIX 5
- Installations with remote maintenance: remote access is provided
- Little space in the technical room: two units fit side by side in 19 inch × 1.5 rack units
Not suitable for
- Smaller projects: a MADRIX 5 licence on a MADRIX KEY on your own computer is enough
- Only playing back shows without a computer in operation: that is what a playback unit such as the AURA is for
- Connecting fixtures directly: the ARCEDIA outputs via network and graphics outputs and needs nodes such as STELLA, LUNA or NEBULA behind it
Not included: keyboard, mouse, monitor and network cables.

Connection
Up and running in three steps
- Set up. On the desk, on a monitor with the supplied VESA bracket or in the rack.
- Connect. Connect the power supply, monitor, keyboard and mouse, and the network to your nodes.
- Start. MADRIX 5 is installed and licensed: load or create a project and get going.
The ARCEDIA outputs via network (e.g. Art-Net or sACN) and the graphics outputs. Fixtures and pixels need suitable nodes or controllers behind it.

Is MADRIX 5 included?
Yes. MADRIX 5 is pre-installed with the arcedia standard licence, unlimited in time. The arcedia extended licence is available as an upgrade.
What is the difference between standard and extended?
The standard licence unlocks 135,168 DMX channels and 44,880 DVI pixels, extended twice as much: 270,336 DMX channels and 89,760 DVI pixels. The render volume is 1.5 million pixels for both.

Does the ARCEDIA fit into a rack?
Yes. Two units fit side by side in 19 inch × 1.5 rack units, the installation depth is 218 mm.
