Waterproof 2-pin round connector pair (IP68), black, with cable ends

This pair of plug and socket, each with a cable, connects 2-wire extra-low-voltage lines detachably. Mated and screwed, the connection is protected to IP68; the wires have a 0.30 mm² cross-section.

Connection

How to connect

  1. Connect the wires. Solder or join the wires of plug and socket side with the same pin assignment.
  2. Insulate. Insulate each solder joint individually, e.g. with heat-shrink tubing.
  3. Mate. Align plug and socket, push them together and tighten the coupling nut by hand.
Caution: Connect, mate or disconnect only with the power switched off. Size the current per wire for the 0.30 mm² cross-section.

Is the connection watertight when unmated?
No. Protection to IP68 applies only to the mated, screwed connection.
Which current is permissible?
