Pixel strips for outdoor use

IP67 strips are dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion. Here you will find WS2812B strips for 5 V (4 or 5 m, 30 or 60 LEDs per metre) and WS2811 strips for 12 V (5 m, 30 or 60 LEDs per metre), with a black or white PCB.

What to look for?

Question Answer
5 V or 12 V? 12 V (WS2811) for longer runs per injection point, 5 V (WS2812B) for individually addressable LEDs with fine resolution.
30 or 60 LEDs per metre? 60 for fine resolution and plenty of light, 30 for less current per metre.
Which power supply? power supply matching the voltage, in IP67 for outdoors.
How do I seal the ends? silicone end caps and silicone sleeve
