Waterproof 3-pin xConnect® connector pair (IP65) with cable ends
The connector pair consists of a plug and a socket, each with a cable and stripped wires. A PVC coupling nut and a silicone seal protect the mated connection to IP65.

What this connector is made for
- Detachable 3-wire connections, e.g. power and data of pixel strings and strips
- Outdoor connections that should be separable later
- Currents up to 10 A per contact with 0.75 mm² wires
Not suitable for
- Mains voltage — for extra-low voltage only (5–24 V DC)
- Open, unmated connectors outdoors — IP65 applies only when mated and screwed

Connection
How to connect
- Connect the wires. Solder or join the stripped wires to string, strip or controller — red to DC +, yellow to DATA, black to GND −.
- Insulate. Insulate each solder joint individually, e.g. with heat-shrink tubing.
- Mate. Align plug and socket, push them together and tighten the coupling nut by hand.
Caution: Connect, mate or disconnect only with the power switched off. Protect open connectors from moisture.

Frequently asked questions
Is the connection watertight when unmated?
No. Protection to IP65 applies only to the mated connection with the coupling nut tightened.
Does the plug fit other xConnect® parts?
Yes, the 3-pin xConnect® connections, e.g. on the T-connector 10209.
How do I extend the connection?
With the xConnect® extension cable 3-pin (10210) in 0.5, 1, 2, 3 or 6 m. An open 3-pin plug is sealed with the cap 10163.
