MADRIX 5 upgrade start to maximum: from 2 to 4,104 DMX universes

The upgrade extends an existing MADRIX® 5 start licence on the same KEY to the maximum level. Afterwards 4,104 DMX universes (2,101,248 channels) and 2,097,152 DVI pixels are available.

Requirement: a metallic MADRIX KEY that already holds the MADRIX 5 start licence. The upgrade does not replace a licence, it extends the existing one.

Activation

Extended in three steps

  1. Order. The upgrade is generated for your KEY after your order.
  2. Receive the activation file. You receive an activation file (PDF) with a ticket number by e-mail.
  3. Unlock. Plug in the KEY with the start licence, start MADRIX 5 and enter the ticket number under Help › MADRIX KEY › Activate MADRIX KEY…. Activation needs an internet connection once.

  • 1 × MADRIX 5 upgrade start to maximum as activation file (PDF with ticket number) by e-mail
  • Not included: MADRIX KEY and the start starting licence

Frequently asked questions

Can I upgrade again later?
Yes. Upgrades are possible several times per KEY, so you can extend level by level.
Do I need a new KEY?
No. The upgrade runs on the KEY that holds your start licence. Only older green plastic KEYs do not work with MADRIX 5.
My licence is still from MADRIX 2 or 3. Does the upgrade work?
Not directly. First bring your licence to MADRIX 5 with the MADRIX 5 update for your level; the upgrade is possible afterwards.
How do I find out which licence is on my KEY?
MADRIX 5 shows the licence of the connected KEY under Help › MADRIX › License….
