Standard, Regulated or Square?

All 12 V pixel strings have 12 mm WS2811 pixels at 10 cm spacing, potted to IP68, with max. 36 W per 50 pixels. They differ in brightness along the string and in design.

Which 12 V string fits?

What matters to me … … then choose
an affordable start with 50 or 100 pixels Standard
even brightness up to the end of the string, also over longer runs Regulated (guide: resistor or regulated?)
pixels to screw onto panels or profiles Square with square housing and mounting tab
connecting strings or injecting power connectors & cables
